Various institutions work together in the Augsburg University Medicine project. The founding dean of the faculty and her team are responsible for setting up the medical faculty. The overall project is accompanied by the Staff Office for Medicine and Strategic Development, which was established by the university management and reports directly to it. Important cooperation partners of the University of Augsburg are the Augsburg University Hospital (Universit?tsklinikum Augsburg) and the District Hospital Augsburg (Bezirkskrankenhaus Augsburg?- Klinik für Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik der Universit?t Augsburg).
