I grew up in a little village near Munich and did my Bachelor in Education and Communication Sciences at LMU. Afterwards I worked several years in Social Work at an orphanage and in an elementary school and did trainings in trauma counselling and systemic therapy. Due to my passion for science and medical research I pursued the Master of Public Health at LMU and wrote my Master’s thesis about cell-free DNA as a biomarker for Type 2 Diabetes and related complications at Helmholtz Munich. I am looking forward now to pursue my PhD. In my spare time I like working out, reading, cooking, travelling and visiting concerts.
