Have you just started your first semester in a teaching degree program with English as a subject or are you on the home stretch of your advanced teaching degree? Then you've come to the right place! The Department of English and American Studies is hosting a general information event on the state examination in English. Student teachers of all semesters are cordially invited to get an overview of relevant information on the state examination in English. The event requires no registration. Date: May 26, 2025, Time: 5:30 - 7:00 pm, Location: C-Building, Lecture Hall IV (you can find the flyer for the event in the download section below).

The registration phase for exams during summer term 2025 will take place from June 16, 2025 to June 26, 2025 (start and end at 12:00 noon).

On September 19 and 20, 2025, a Summer School on “Methods and Developments in Learner Corpus Research” will take place at the University of Bamberg. The event is primarily aimed at young researchers (M.A. students, doctoral students and early postdocs) from the field of linguistics.
