10/2023 | The paper "A Taxonomy of Violations in Digital Asset Markets" has been accepted for publication at the International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS). It was developed in a research collaboration with scholars from Goethe University Frankfurt, as part of a research project funded by FIRM.

5/2023 | The article "What determines FinTech success? A taxonomy-based analysis of FinTech success factors", written in cooperation with researchers from Leibniz University Hannover, has been published in the journal "Electronic Markets". The paper presents a taxonomy of success factors of FinTech business models and a classification of corresponding archetypes.

5/2023 | In the summer semester of 2023, the department offers the Master's seminar "Digital Innovation and Design Thinking", led by visiting Professor Balaji Rajagopalan, Ph.D. (Northern Illinois University, College of Business). The interdisciplinary, project-based seminar is positioned at the intersection of digital innovations, design thinking, and entrepreneurship, aiming to impart the skills demanded by today's businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
Our dedicated students have focused on conceptualizing and implementing innovative digital innovations. In doing so, they demonstrated their ability to systematically apply the knowledge they have learned about digital innovations and design thinking.
This seminar emphasizes the central importance of digital innovations and creativity techniques in the context of the current digital transformation of economy and society. The seminar prepares our students to take a leading role in shaping the digital future.
3/2023 | The Digital Finance Forum set up by the German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) prepared the roadmap "Digital Financial Market Germany 2030" [pdf, 320KB], which outlines a catalog of various suggestions on how to succeed in increasing the future and competitiveness of Germany as a digital financial center in Europe.

1/2023 | Prof. Dr. Robert Gregory (University of Miami) offers the PhD seminar "Phenomenon-driven Theory Development" in the summer semester 2023.
