Exciting decision-making experiment this winter - participate now!
Researchers at the Environmental Economics working group have designed an economic decision-making experiment that mimics situations of natural resource use dilemmas. As of October 2024, the team around Professor Florian Diekert launched the experiment at the Laboratory for Economic Experiments on Human Behavior (LEcH) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Building J, Ground Floor, Room 1113).

Recent publication: Teams react to nudges
Prof. Dr. Florian Diekert and Dr. Tillmann Eymess published the results from their lab-in-the-field experiment with fishing crews at Lake Victoria, Tanzania, in the journal Games and Economic Behavior. In their study, Diekert and Eymess asked whether teams (fishing crews) could be nudged to increase cooperation in a social-dilemma experiment.
