Researchers at the Environmental Economics working group have designed an economic decision-making experiment that mimics situations of natural resource use dilemmas. As of October 2024, the team around Professor Florian Diekert launched the experiment at the Laboratory for Economic Experiments on Human Behavior (LEcH) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Building J, Ground Floor, Room 1113).
With this experiment, the team of researchers wants to understand economic decision-making behavior of groups in social dilemmas, typically found in the context of natural resource use.
Students are cordially invited to take part in this experiment, which is remunerated based on decisions made in the experiment (on average 20 euros) and lasts about 1,5 hours. Participation also offers a unique opportunity to experience scientific research firsthand.
