If you move to a new apartement, you have to register your new residence within 14 days at the relevant authority by person.?

Please send a copy of the following document,?completely filled out and signed,

to the immigration office,?aufenthalt.uni@augsburg.de:

• passport
• visa or residence permit (including the green "Zusatzblatt")
• registration form
• confirmation of the landlord/provider of housing space (" Wohnungsgeberbest?tigung")

The provider of housing space is either your landlord, a person mandated by your landlord or the main tenant if you are a subtenant.

When you move to a different city in Germany you have to register there within 14 days. There is no need to deregister from the city of Augsburg.
