Anja Meissner’s research focuses on identifying molecular mechanisms underlying pathophysiological alterations of the cardiovascular system. Specifically, her team aims at understanding sphingosine-1-phosphate signaling and its role in the regulation of the vascular and the immune system during cardiovascular disease and associated target organ damage.?
