Dr. Lukas Me?mann studierte von 2011 bis 2017 Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der Universit?t Augsburg. Seit 2017 ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Production & Supply Chain Management und der interdisziplin?ren Forschungsgruppe ?Resource Lab“ am Zentrum für Klimaresilienz. Seine Dissertation mit dem Titel ?Strategic Design of Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Supply Networks“ (summa cum laude), die 2023 mit dem ?Jacqueline Bloemhof PhD Thesis Award on Sustainable Supply Chains“ ausgezeichnet wurde, verteidigte er erfolgreich am 22. Juni 2022.

In seiner Forschung besch?ftigt er sich mit nachhaltigen und klimaresilienten Wertsch?pfungsketten, wobei er Methoden der Industrial Ecology (darunter ?kobilanzierung und Social Life Cycle Assessment) mit Methoden des Operations Research (v.a. multikriterielle Optimierung) kombiniert. Inhaltliche Forschungsschwerpunkte sind u.a. nachhaltige Krankenh?user, landwirtschaftliche Produktion und Lebensmittellieferketten, Produkte der Bio?konomie sowie Rücknahmenetzwerke für Elektroaltger?te.

Im Bereich der Lehre ist oder war er an den Vorlesungen ?Sustainable Operations“, ?Industrial Ecology“, ?Ressourceneffizienz & Resilienz“ und ?Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre“ sowie am Zertifizierungskurs SAP TS410?beteiligt, und verantwortet die Logistikseminare mit IBM ILOG CPLEX.

Von Oktober bis Dezember 2023 war er Gastforscher an der University of Tokyo und von April bis Juli 2024 an D?nemarks Technischer Universit?t (DTU).

Seit Januar 2025 ist Dr. Lukas Me?mann gemeinsam mit Miriam K?hler am Green Office der Universit?t Augsburg für das Klimaschutzmanagement der Universit?t verantwortlich.
