Upcoming info talk on DFG Funding Opportunities for Research Careers: The Heisenberg Programme (18 February 2025)
The DFG, Germany’s largest independent research funding organisation, offers funding opportunities for all career stages between doctorate and professorship. Prospects, the DFG online talk series, introduces the DFG and its funding portfolio for postdocs.
The talks offer an overview of all funding instruments for the time after your PhD as well as specific focus talks on the Walter Benjamin Programme, the Emmy Noether Programme and the Heisenberg Programme. They will also provide advice on how to prepare your proposal for the review process and answer your questions. PhD candidates and postdocs of all disciplines are welcome to join.
The Heisenberg Programme is DFG’s funding opportunity for researchers eligible for a university professorship. The upcoming Prospects info session will explore the funding programme’s goals, eligibility requirements and selection criteria. It will introduce DFG’s profile as a funding organisation and the proposal’s journey from submission to a funding decision. You can also ask questions during the session.
