After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Würzburg, Lena Sch?tzlein pursued a Master's in Sustainable Economics and Management at the University of Kassel. During her studies, she gained practical experience as a student employee at SMA Railway Technology and as a research assistant at the Institute of Supply Chain Management. After earning her Master’s degree in 2017, Lena transitioned from academia to work as an assistant and project manager at BRUNATA-METRONA in Munich. In 2019, she became a research associate at the Institute for Sustainability Management at Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf and started her PhD project. In October 2024, she joined the Chair for Innovation and Sustainable Business at the University of Augsburg. Her research focuses on social enterprises, impact investors, and their collaborations.
